SATURN Simplified Maintenence Schedules - All Models
As a SATURN owner, there are two main schedules of required services that your vehicle needs.
These required services are described by the terms "Maintenance I" and "Maintenance II."
Ask for Maintenance I if the the Change Engine Oil Light comes on within 10 months of the vehicle purchase,
or when Maintenance II was last performed. In most cases, Maintenance I should be done first; Maintenance II should follow.
Alternate beween the two schedules thereafter. (Depending on your driving habits, Maintenance II may be required more often.)

NOTICE: As a responsible SATURN owner, ALWAYS:
- Change engine oil and filter at least once per year (required by SATURN).
- Check your engine oil level regularly.
- Rotate tires every 5,000 to 8,000 miles.
Maintenance I
Schedule
- Change engine oil and filter. Reset oil life system. Check and top off fluid levels.
- Visually check for any leaks or damage.
- Inspect engine air cleaner filter; replace if necessary (additional charge)
- Rotate and inspect tires. Check air pressure and wear.
- Reset tire pressure monitoring system. Check tread depth and spare tire.
- Inspect brake system, including lines, hoses, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors, and drums.
- Check engine coolant and windshield washer fluid.
- Check lighting and wiper blades.

Maintenance II
Schedule
- Change engine oil and filter. Reset oil life system. Check and top off fluid levels.
- Visually check for any leaks or damage.
- Inspect engine air cleaner filter; replace if necessary (additional charge)
- Rotate and inspect tires. Check air pressure and wear. Reset tire pressure monitoring system.
- Check tread depth and spare tire.
- Inspect brake system ,including lines, hoses, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders ,rotors and drums.
- Check engine coolant and windshield washer fluid.
- Inspect engine cooling system; inspect hoses and replace if cracked, swollen, or deteriorated.
- Pressure test cooling system and pressure cap. Clean outside of radiator and AC condenser.
- Lubricate body components. Lubricate all key lock cylinders, door/hood/trunk hinges and latches.
- Apply silicon on weather strips with a clean cloth.
- Inspect wiper blades for wearing and cracking. Replace once per year.
- Inspect restraint system components. Check safety belt reminder light and belt assemblies.
- Check for torn or frayed belts. Inspect for loose or damaged parts.
- Inspect suspension and steering components for damage, loose parts and wear.
- Inspect electric power steering cables. Inspect hydraulic power steering lines and hoses.
- Check transmission/transaxle fluid level and add fluid as needed.
- Replace passenger compartment air filter if equipped-older models (additional charge)
- Inspect throttle system on older models
- Inspect drive belts
- Car wash

At 25,000, 75,000, and 125,000 miles:
- Inspect fuel system for damage or leaks
- Inspect exhaust system for loose or damaged components
Rate: No Additional Charge
At 50,000 Miles:
- Inpect fuel system for damage or leaks.
- Inspect engine air cleaner; replace if necessary (additional charge)
- Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid- Automatic transmission flush service
Rate: $152.95
At 100,000 miles:
- Inspect fuel system for damaage or leaks.
- Inspect exhaust system for loose or damaged components.
- Inspect engine air cleaner; replace if necessary (additional charge)
- Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid-Automatic transmission flush service
- Replace spark plugs and inspect spark plug wires
At 150,000 miles:
- Inspect fuel system for damage or leaks.
- Inspect exhaust system for loose or damaged components.
- Inspect engine air cleaner; replace if necessary (additional charge)
- Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid-Automatic transmission flush service.
- Inspect engine accessory drive belt
Value-Added Services (for a higher level of maintenance protection)
Air/Fuel Service $103.95
- Can improve rough idle, sluggish performance, and improve gas mileage,
removes deposits from injectors and induction system, cleans throttle body.
(Recommended once a year)
Throttle Body Service $72.95
- Can improve rough idle, sluggish performance, and improve gas mileage.
(Recommended once a year)
Automatic Transmission Flush $152.95
- State of the art removal of all fluid and deposits from the transmission
torque converter, oil cooling lines, and oil cooler.
(Recommended at the 50,000 mile interval services)
IR Conditioning/Venthilation Service $99.95
- Total air conditioning/ventilation system service- cleaning and deodorizing.
Removes odors from pet smells and smoking.
(Recommended for odors)
Total Cooling System Flush $123.90
- The machine flushes and replaces the fluid in the radiator, engine block, heater hoses, and heater core.
(Recommended every 5 years/100,000 miles or when performing repairs to the cooling system)
Power Steering System Flush $96.95
- Renews fluid and removes harmful deposits as contamination is pumped through the system
under high pressure which can cause abrasive wear to the rack assembly (not for electric power steering racks)
(Recommended every 2 years or 30,000 miles)
Brake System Flush $96.95
- Brake fluid absorbs moisture and collects dirt which promotes wear on brake components
like calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and anti-lock brake components.
(Recommended every 2 years or when performing brake repairs)
